Our string trio took the train early this morning. We are expected at the Mairy Castle to play for Hayley and Ben’s wedding. We arrive at the chateau and are welcomed by the adorable organizer Alexandra Raphael. We prepared every music piece of the ceremony and the cocktail with care.
The ceremony takes place in a spacious room of the chateau, warmly decorated with candles and flowers. The fire burns in the chimney.
To welcome the guests, we play romantic music and French music from the beginning of the 20th century as the Swan by Saint Saens, Berceuse by Fauré. The groom, Ben chose Borodine’s trio for his entrance, and the bride to be, Hayley had set her mind on a pop-rock tune, There She goes, by the La’s. For the exit, the newlyweds asked the most intense moment of Pachelbel’s Canon. The ceremony is like the bride and groom, sweet and romantic and is followed by a cocktail hour, during which classical and pop music is played.
We were very delighted to prepare and share this event with the wedding planner alexandra-raphael.com, a very careful and nice person with strong humans values.
